Beef Stew Over Spaghetti
Ingredients
1 pound beef or venison stew meat to 2 pounds
8 carrots sliced thin
6 potatoes sliced thin
2 apples chopped
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. thyme
2 Tbsp. minced onion
2 C. apple cider
Cooking Instructions
Trim meat of fat and cut into 1-1/2 inch chunks. Add stock, water, and oyster sauce in 4-quart pot over medium heat until boiling gently. Stir in vegetables. Cook 5 minutes, until thawed and hot. Add pasta and, stirring almost constantly, cook 3 minutes, until pasta is firm but tender and stock is thickened.
