Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 325. Butter and flour an 8″ springform pan. In a mixing bowl, sift all dry ingredients together and set aside. Blend the oil and sugar in an electric mixer at medium speed for 5 minutes. Add the eggs, one at a time, and beat well. Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the oil mixture and combine thoroughly. Add the apples, pecans and raisins, and blend well with a spatula. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 1 to 1-1/2 hours, or until a knife inserted comes out dry. Drizzle some caramel sauce over slices of the cake, and serve with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
