Vanilla Raisin Bread
Ingredients
2/3 C. raisins, soaked in vanilla
1 1/8 C. buttermilk
1 large egg
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. butter
3 1/2 C. bread flour
2 tsp. yeast
Cooking Instructions
Combine raisins and 3 Tbls. vanilla for at least 1 hour then drain well. If you want to make on spur of the moment, combine the raisins and vanilla then microwave for one minute on high. For a stronger vanilla flavor, reserve vanilla and use as part of your liquid.
