Tofu Nut Patties
Ingredients
1/2 C.(s) water
1 Tbsp. egg replacer
1 C.(s) whole wheat bread crumbs
1/2 C.(s) roasted almond butter
1/2 C.(s) walnuts, finely chopped
1/2 C.(s) sunflower seeds, lightly roasted
1/2 C.(s) millet or brown rice, precooked
2 Tbsp. almond oil
2 Tbsp. parsley
1 Tbsp. onion powder
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. thyme
1/2 tsp. marjoram
1/2 tsp. sea salt
1/8 tsp. rosemary, ground
1/2 pound tofu, crumbled
Cooking Instructions
Mix the water and egg replacer together. Blend the remaining ingredients, except for the tofu, in a food processor. Process until well mixed, then stir in the tofu. Form into 8 patties. Place on grill or in frying pan and grill until browned on both sides.
