Toffee Cake
Ingredients
2 C. flour
1 tsp. soda
1/2 C. cocoa
1 1/2 C. sugar
2 C. or more almond toffee, finely chopped
3/4 C. cooking oil
2 eggs
1 C. sour milk (1 tsp. lemon juice in 1 C. of milk)
Cooking Instructions
Mix all ingredients except toffee crumbs. Add 1 C. boiling water and mix again. Pour half batter into greased floured 9×13-inch pan. Bake at 350 for 10-15 minutes. Pour on toffee crumbs and rest of batter. Bake at 250 for 15 minutes, then at 350 for approximately 15-20 minutes longer.
