Tijuana Torte
Ingredients
1 lb. or slightly more hamburger meat, browned lightly and drained
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
sm. Onion, chopped (optional)
4 oz. can chopped green chilies
14 oz. can stewed tomatoes and juice
Cheddar cheese, shredded
Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
Cooking Instructions
Mix together and simmer 15 minutes. Place small amount in pie dish. Top with large flour tortilla. Add more of meat mixture and sprinkle with combination of Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese. Continue stacking tortillas, meat, cheese, using 5-6 tortillas and ending with cheese. Bake for about 30 minutes at 350ΒΊ.
