Three Layer Casserole
Ingredients
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
2 C. tomato sauce
1 C. sour cream
3 oz. cream cheese
6 green onions sliced as for salad
1/2 C. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
Cooking Instructions
Brown beef, salt, sugar and garlic powder. Drain. Add tomato sauce and simmer for 20 minutes uncovered. In separate bowl mix sour cream, cream cheese and green onions. Cook 8 oz. noodles according to package directions. Alternate layers of noodles, meat mixture and cream sauce in a greased casserole dish. Repeat layers. Top with grated cheese. Bake at 350ΒΊ for 40-45 minutes or until browned. Can be frozen. Serves 4.
