Sweet Sour Chicken
Ingredients
1 small green pepper
1 Tbsp. fat or oil
2 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. cornstarch
2/3 C. chicken, turkey or meat broth
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
3 Tbsp. raisins
2/3 C. cut-up cooked chicken, turkey, beef or pork
Cooking Instructions
Cut green pepper in 1-inch pieces. Cook slowly in fat or oil in a heated fry pan for about 10 minutes, until tender. Mix sugar and cornstarch. Mix in broth, vinegar and soy sauce; add to green pepper. Cook over medium heat, stirring until sauce is clear and thickened. Add meat and raisins. Heat. Serve.
