Sourdough Coffee Bread
Ingredients
1 pound loaf
1 1/2 C. whole wheat flour
3/4 C. bread flour
1/4 C. gluten flour
1 Tbsp. dry milk
1 tsp. sea salt
1/2 C. malt sourdough starter
1/2 C. water
1/4 C. cold coffee
1 Tbsp. canola, safflower, or sunflower oil
1 tsp. honey
1 package active dry yeast
1 1/2 pound loaf
1 3/4 C. whole wheat flour
1 C. bread flour
1/4 C. gluten flour
1 1/2 Tbsp. dry milk
1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
3/4 C. malt sourdough starter
1/2 C. plus 2 Tbsp. water
1/4 C. cold coffee
2 Tbsp. canola, safflower or sunflower oil
2 tsp. honey
4 tsp. active dry yeast
Cooking Instructions
Load machine according to manufacturer’s directions. Use Whole Wheat mode. Remove from pan after cooking and allow to cool completely before slicing or wrapping for storage.
