Smokey Salmon Pate
Ingredients
15 oz. salmon
2/3 C. cottage cheese, low fat
1/4 tsp. liquid smoke seasoning
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. onion, minced
2 Tbsp. olives, ripe, finely chopped
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. paprika
melba toast (optional)
rye toast (optional)
Cooking Instructions
Drain salmon and chop fine, or mash with a fork. Press cottage cheese through a strainer, or blend smooth. Combine with salmon and remaining ingredients. Mix well. Cover and chill for at least 1 hour. Serve with melba toast or party rye.
