Sour-Creamed Spinach
Ingredients
1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach
1 Tbsp. butter
2 tsp. flour
1/2 C. sour cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. lemon juice
Cooking Instructions
Cook the spinach according to the directions on the package. Remove from saucepan and drain. In the same saucepan, melt the butter and blend in the flour. Add the sour cream and seasonings, return spinach, and cook gently for 5 minutes or until mixture thickens slightly. Taste for seasoning.
