Shiskkabob With Vegetables
Ingredients
5 cloves garlic, finely chopped
1 1/2 tsp. meat tenderizer
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. coarse ground black pepper
1 1/2 tsp. brandy
3/4 C. soy sauce
3/4 C. water
2 lbs. boneless sirloin steak, cut into 1″ cubes
1/2 lb. fresh mushroom caps
2 lg. green peppers, cut into 1 1/2″ pieces
1 C. cherry tomatoes
2 med. zucchini squash cut into 1″ slices
6 sm. onions
Cooking Instructions
Combine the first 8 ingredients, mixing well; pour into shallow dish. Add meat, cover, marinate for 4 hours in the refrigerator, turning meat occasionally. Remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade. Alternate meat and vegetables on skewer. Grill over medium coals 10 to 15 minutes or until desired degree of doneness, basting frequently with marinade. Serve with rice pilaf. Serves 6.
