Red Devil’s Food Cake
Ingredients
2 C. sugar
3/4 C. shortening
2 eggs
1 C. buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
2-1/2 C. flour
1/2 C. cocoa
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
1 C. boiling water
Cooking Instructions
Cream the sugar and shortening, add 2 eggs. Alternate the flour mixture with buttermilk. Add water last. Bake at 350 degrees.
