Provolone Chicken
Ingredients
2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, split and flatten
4 slices provolone cheese
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 C. flavored bread crumbs
sprig of parsley, if desired
1 tsp. butter or margarine
Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 425. Place bread crumbs in a flat dish; press both sides of the chicken into the crumbs. Place coated chicken pieces in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with oregano, and top with cheese. Sprinkle with parsley and dot with butter. Bake for 20 minutes or until done.
