Pork Skillet
Ingredients
2 Tbsp. butter
4 pork chops 3/4-inch thick
1 medium-sized onion chopped
1 garlic clove minced
1 can italian tomatoes (14 1/2 ounces)
1 tsp. italian seasoning
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
Cooking Instructions
In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium-high heat and brown the pork chops for 2- 3 minutes per side. Remove the chops from the skillet and cover to keep warm. Add the onion, bell pepper, and garlic to the skillet and Saute for 3-5 minutes, until tender and lightly browned. Stir in the tomatoes, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Return the pork chops to the skillet; reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 30 minutes or until the chops are cooked through.
