Pork Loin With Green Chile Sauce
Ingredients
3 pounds boneless loin of pork cut in 2 inch cubes
1 medium onion sliced
3 jalapeño chilies leave some seeds
1 garlic clove
or garlic salt
6 outside leaves Romaine lettuce
3 tomatillos
or 1/2 bottle green taco sauce
1/4 C. cilantro or to taste
1/4 C. orange juice
Salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Cooking Instructions
Put meat in pan with water to cover. Cook 1 1/2 hours, drain, put in crock pot. Combine everything else in a blender and puree with 1 C. water. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Pour over meat in crock pot, add water to cover about 1/2 of the meat and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
