Pork And Veal Goulash With Sauerkraut
Ingredients
6 Tbsp. onions, chopped
2 Tbsp. butter/vegetable oil
1/2 pound. lean pork, cut into 1-inch cubes
1/2 pound. veal, cut into 1-inch cubes
1 pound. sauerkraut, drained
1 C. cultured sour cream
generous grating of freshly ground pepper
1 tsp. caraway seed
Cooking Instructions
Sauté chopped onions in butter or vegetable oil until transparent. Add and sauté pork and veal cubes. Add washed and drained sauerkraut with caraway seed. Simmer, covered for about 1 hour. Heat and add sour cream and a generous grating of freshly ground pepper.
