Pork And Cabbage With Hot Sauce
Ingredients
1 pound. lean pork
1 spring onion, cut into
2-inch lengths
2 garlic cloves, sliced
4 Tbsp. vegetable oil
cabbage, cut into 2-inch strips
1 1/2 bell pepper, cut in wedges
2 tsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1 tsp. cornstarch
1 Tbsp. water
Cooking Instructions
In large pan, cook pork and onion in enough water to cover for 15 minutes. Drain. Slice pork. Sauté garlic in oil. Add pork, onion, cabbage and bell pepper. Cook 1 to 2 minutes over high heat. Add soy sauce, sugar and pepper sauce. Cook 1 to 2 minutes over medium heat. Stir in cornstarch, dissolved in Tbls. of water until thickened.
