Peas Epicurean
Ingredients
4 strips bacon
1/2 onion, chopped
4 oz. can mushrooms, drained
1 Tbsp. flour
1 C. heavy cream
salt and pepper to taste
Worcestershire to taste
10 oz. frozen peas, cooked and drained
Cooking Instructions
Chop bacon and brown with onion. Add flour and cream stirring constantly until it thickens and is smooth. Add seasonings and mushrooms. Add peas. Serves 8. This recipe can easily be doubled.
