Pasta, Beef & Beans
Ingredients
1/2 lb. fresh hamburger
1 small diced onion
1/2 lb. elbow macaroni
1 16 oz. can of kidney beans
1/2 can (from kidney beans)
each of ketchup & water
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 C. grated Romano & Parmesan cheese
1 tsp. olive oil
small amount of ground red pepper
Cooking Instructions
Brown hamburger in 1 tsp. of olive oil add minced onion and Saute with browning beef add can of kidney beans. Add can of water and ketchup mixture to browned hamburger add salt & pepper, minced garlic, small amount of ground red pepper, grated cheese, and simmer for about 15 minutes. In The Meantime: Bring pan of salted water to boil, add macaroni and cook until done, drain add macaroni to meat mixture, mix well, serve with green salad and fresh Italian bread.
