Overnight Doughnuts
Ingredients
3 eggs
1 C. sugar
1/2 C. milk
1/2 C. commercial sour cream
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
3 1/2 C. flour, sifted
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. mace
1 tsp. vanilla
Cooking Instructions
Beat eggs well and gradually beat in sugar. Then mix dry ingredients and add after cream and milk. Stir in butter before all flour is stirred in. Let dough stand in refrigerator overnight. Roll on cloth and fry in deep fat until golden brown.
