Orange Cake
Ingredients
1 C. sugar
1/2 C. shortening
2 eggs
2 C. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 C. sour milk
1 C. ground up raisins
1 orange and rind, ground
1/2 C. sugar
Cooking Instructions
Mix in order given, save juice of orange for glaze topping. Bake cake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Glaze: Add 1/2 C. sugar to orange juice-when cake is done, pour over cake and bake until it forms a sugar crust.
