Ingredients

1 C. shortening
1 C. white sugar
1 C. brown sugar
2 eggs
1/4 C. flour
1 tsp. soda
2 C. apples; chopped
1 tsp. salt
3 C. oatmeal
1/2 C. nuts; finely chopped
3/4 C. water
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Cooking Instructions

Cream shortening and sugar; add water, vanilla, eggs, dry ingredients, oatmeal and apples. Bake 350 degree for one hour in square cake pan or bread pan.
