Cooking Instructions
In a small saucepan, bring the dried fruit and water to a boil. Remove from heat and allow to set up for 5 minutes. Drain the fruit and set aside, reserving the liquid. Add ingredients according to manufacturer’s directions – except the fruit. Program for whole wheat mode. At the end of the mixing cycle and just before the kneading cycle begins, add the reserved fruit to the dough. At the end of the baking cycle, remove the bread and allow to cool completely on a rack before slicing or wrapping for storage.
