Normas Salmon Chowder
Ingredients
4 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 med. onion
2 C. water
1 (20 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli
5 chicken bouillon cubes
1 (16 oz.) can red salmon
1 (14 oz.) can evaporated milk
2 Tbsp. cornstarch
4 C. milk
Cooking Instructions
Saute chopped onion in butter in saucepan. Add broccoli, water and bouillon cubes. Simmer until broccoli is tender. Add flaked salmon, canned milk mixed with cornstarch and heat. Add the 4 cups of milk just before serving and reheat. 8 servings.
