Melted Chicken
Ingredients
3 pounds whole fryer chicken to 4 pounds
1/2 C. apricot jam
1 package onion soup mix
Cooking Instructions
Sprinkle 1/2 of soup packet inside cavity. Place chicken in pot. Dot with jam. Cook low 8 to 10 hours. Serve with sauce. For a thicker glaze use up to 1 Tbls. cornstarch after cooking to thicken sauce.
