Meatballs In Gravy
Ingredients
3/4 lb. ground beef
1 1/2 tsp. dry minced onion
1/4 C. bread crumbs
1/4 tsp. salt
Pinch of black pepper
Pinch of garlic salt
1 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 tsp. steak sauce
3/4 tsp. Heinz 57
1/4 C. milk
1 egg, beaten
Melted margarine if grilled
Cooking Instructions
Place meat in a large bowl. Combine and stir all dry ingredients and add to meat. Add all liquids. Mix well with hands. Shape into medium size balls (small egg size) slightly flatten. Fry on medium heat about 5 minutes on each side. A deep pot is best to use so the gravy can be made in the same pot. Make gravy and simmer with meatballs covered 10 minutes. Makes approximately 12-16 balls. (for charcoaled meatballs brush with melted margarine while cooking over charcoal. Cook about 7 minutes on each side. Do not let coals flame up, spray with water.)
