Meat Cakes
Ingredients
1-1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 pound bulk Italian sausage
1/2 C. minced onion
1 tsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. dried sage
1 C. unsweetened applesauce
1/2 C. whole wheat bread crumbs
1/2 C. unprocessed bran
Cooking Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Mix all ingredients together well. Place 1/3 C. mixture (2 oz.) in each of 16 muffin C.. Bake at 350 degrees F. until done, about 1 hour. Remove from muffin tins. Serve hot or cold.
