Marinated Salmon Steaks 1
Ingredients
1/2 C. dry white wine
1/3 C. soy sauce
1/4 C. water
2 Tbsp. light brown sugar
1 sm. white onion, minced
1 sm. clove garlic, crushed
1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/4 tsp. freshly ground pepper
4 salmon steaks, 1″ thick
Cooking Instructions
1. Combine the wine, soy sauce, water, sugar, onion, garlic, hot pepper sauce and pepper in a bowl. Pour over fish steaks. Refrigerate, covered, 3 hours. Let stand at room temperature. 30 minutes before grilling. 2. Preheat the grill or turn on broiler. 3. If using presoaked wood chips or other flavorings, sprinkle them over hot coals or lava rocks. Brush grid lightly with oil. 4. Grill the fish steaks over hot or high heat, basting with remaining marinade, 5 minutes per side.
