Marinated Barbecued Church Steak
Ingredients
1 Tbsp. chili powder
2 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. salt
1 clove garlic, minced
2 Tbsp. onion, minced
1/3 C. lemon juice
1/4 C. oil
1 (2 lb.) steak (about 1″ thick)
Cooking Instructions
Combine first 7 ingredients. Stir. Place steak in large shallow bowl. Pour marinade over steak. Turn steak to coat both sides with marinade. Cover and refrigerate 10 hours or overnight. Remove steak from marinade. Place on grill over hot coals. Cook 8 to 10 minutes on each side or until desired degree of doneness. Yield: 2 servings.
