Lemon Pepper Pinwheels
Ingredients
1/2 C. oil
1/3 C. water
1/2 Tbsp. lemon pepper
Mushroom crowns
1/8 C. soy sauce
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/4 lb. round steak
Cooking Instructions
Mix oil, water, lemon pepper, soy sauce and Worcestershire. Pound steak with meat mallet until it is 1/4 inch thick; cut into 8 to 10 (2 inch wide) strips and long enough to wrap mushrooms. Place steak in marinade. Refrigerate several hours, turning occasionally. Drain, reserving marinade. Loosely wrap each strip around a mushroom. Close with skewer. Grill pinwheels over medium coals, turning once – about 6 to 7 minutes each side. Baste with marinade. 4 to 5 servings.
