Honey Mustard Steaks With Grilled Onions
Ingredients
4 boneless beef top loin steaks, cut 1 inch thick
1/3 C. Dijon-style mustard, coarse-grain
1 Tbsp. parsley, chopped
1 1/2 Tbsp. honey
1 Tbsp. each cider vinegar and water
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/8 tsp. coarse grind black pepper
1 lg. onion, cut into 1/2 inch thick slices
Cooking Instructions
Combine mustard, parsley, honey, vinegar, water, pepper sauce and pepper. Place steaks and onions on grid over medium coals*; brush both with glaze. Grill 9 to 12 minutes for rare (140 degrees) to medium (160 degrees), turning once and brushing with glaze. 4 servings. Recipe may be prepared using boneless beef top sirloin steak or rib eye steaks cut 1 inch thick. Serving suggestion: Corn on the cob. *Test about 4 inches above coals for medium with 4-second hand count.
