Honey Mustard Bread
Ingredients
1 pound loaf:
1/2 C. water
1 1/2 C. white bread flour
1/2 C. wheat bread flour
2 tsp. dry milk
2 1/2 Tbsp. honey
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 C. chicken broth; canned/low salt
1 2/3 Tbsp. gourmet mustard
1 tsp. chives; dried
1 tsp. fast rise yeast or 2 tsp. active dry yeast
1 1/2 pound loaf:
3/4 C. water
2 C. white bread flour
1 C. wheat bread flour
1 Tbsp. dry milk
1/4 C. honey
1 tsp. salt
1/2 C. chicken broth; canned/low salt
2 1/2 Tbsp. gourmet mustard
2 tsp. chives; dried
2 tsp. fast rise yeast or 2 tsp. active dry yeast
Cooking Instructions
You do not need to clove mustard to clove this bread. The mustard adds a subtle, secondary flavor. This bread makes an unforgettable ham sandwich, or it can be served warm with baked ham or roast duck.
