Herbed Pork Chops
Ingredients
1 tsp. rosemary
1/2 tsp. sage
1/2 clove garlic, chopped
salt and ground black pepper
4 large chops (about 1 inch thick)
1 C. water
1/2 C. dry white wine
Cooking Instructions
Mix rosemary, sage, garlic, salt and pepper. Rub the chops with mixture. Place the chops in a large skillet; add water and cover. Simmer until all the water has evaporated (about 45 minutes). Remove cover and brown chops in their own fat. Add the wine and cook about 1 minute, turning the chops occasionally. The wine should be almost evaporated before serving.
