Hazelnut Amaretto Bread
Ingredients
3 C. bread flour
1 C. milk
3/4 C. hazelnuts; toasted chopped
1 egg
3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. margarine; or butter
2 Tbsp. amaretto; or hazelnut liqueur
1 tsp. active dry yeast
3/4 tsp. salt
Amaretto glaze
in a small mixing bowl combine
1/2 C. powdered sugar; sifted
1 Tbsp. amaretto; or hazelnut liqueur; or 1/2 tsp. almond extract.
Cooking Instructions
In a small mixing bowl combine 1/2 C. sifted powdered sugar and 1 Tbls. amaretto or hazelnut liqueur or 1/2 tsp. almond extract. If needed, all 1 or 2 tsp. of milk to make a drizzling consistency. Amaretto Glaze Combine with 1 or 2 tsp. of milk to make a drizzling consistency.
