Ham Stuffing Casserole
Ingredients
1/4 C. chopped onion
4 Tbsp. butter
2 C. herb-seasoned stuffing mix
2 C. diced cooked ham
1 large apple, chopped
4 slightly beaten eggs
1 1/2 C. milk
1 C. cheese soup
1/4 C. milk
Cooking Instructions
In saucepan, cook onion in butter until tender but not brown; add stuffing mix, ham and apple. Combine eggs and the 1 1/2 C. milk; stir into stuffing mixture. Spoon into 8 x 8 x 2-inch baking dish. Bake in 350 degrees oven for 40 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes; cut in squares. Serve with creamy cheese sauce. In saucepan, combine cheese soup with remaining milk. Cook and stir over low heat until heated through.
