Grilled Flank Steak
Ingredients
1/4 C. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 green onion, sliced
1-1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1-1/2 tsp. ground ginger
3 Tbsp. honey
3/4 C. vegetable oil
1 beef flank steak (about 1-1/2 lb.)
1 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 green pepper, cut into thin strips
1 yellow or sweet red pepper, cut into thin strips
3 carrots, cut into julienne strips
Cooking Instructions
In a glass baking dish, combine first 7 ingredients. Place meat in marinade. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours, turning once. Remove meat and reserve marinade. Grill meat over hot coals until cooked to preference (about 15 minutes for medium). Meanwhile, in a skillet, sauté vegetables in 1/4 C. marinade until tender. Slice meat at an angle into thin strips. Serve with vegetables.
