Grape Applesauce Cake
Ingredients
2 1/2 C. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 C. grape juice
2 eggs
1/2 C. pecans; chopped
2 C. sugar
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
16 ounces apple sauce
1 C. dates; chopped
Powdered sugar
Cooking Instructions
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, soda, salt, powder, and spices. Slowly add dry ingredients to applesauce, juice butter and eggs. Mix well between each ingredient. In mixer blend on low speed 1/2 minute. Scrape bowl constantly. Stop mixer and stir in dates and nuts. Pour in greased and floured Bundt pan, bake 60 minutes at 350. Cook on rack, and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
