Granola Breakfast Cereal
Ingredients
4 C. rolled oats
2 C. bulgur wheat
1 C. raw sesame seeds (optional)
1 C. shelled sunflower seeds
2 C. raw wheat germ (untoasted)
2 pinches salt
1/4 C. vanilla
3 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 1/2 C. safflower or soy oil
1 1/2 C. honey
Cooking Instructions
In large bowl, mix grains together, add seeds and cinnamon and salt. Stir together; add vanilla and mix until vanilla coats all. Heat honey and oil together just until they mix, do not overheat. Add heated oil and honey to grains; mix well. Spray Pam on 2 cookie sheets or large baking pans. Spread mixture on pans less than 1 inch deep. Bake 1 hour at 250 degrees. Stir 2 or 3 times; store in airtight containers in refrigerator.
