Granny Cake
Ingredients
2 C. flour
1/2 C. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
2 eggs, beaten
1 can pineapple, with juice
1/2 C. brown sugar
1/2 C. nuts
Cooking Instructions
Sift together flour, sugar, salt and soda. Mix well with 2 eggs, pineapple with juice. Pour into greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 C. of brown sugar and nuts. Bake for 35 minutes at 325 degrees. Topping on other side: Bring to boil 1/2 C. of white sugar, 1 tsp. vanilla, 1 stick of margarine, and 1 C. of evaporated milk. Pour over cake while hot.
