Garden Vegetable Burgers
Ingredients
1 lb. ground round
1/2 C. chopped cilantro
1/4 C. chopped red onion
1/4 C. tiny capers, drained
1/4 C. Dijon mustard
2 ripe plum tomatoes, seeded and diced
1/4 C. chopped green bell pepper
2 Tbsp. dry breadcrumbs
1 egg white
1 tsp. caraway seeds
1 tsp. pepper
Cooking Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and gently mix them together with the hands or with a fork. Divide the mixture into four equal portions, and shape them into 1/2-inch-thick patties. Place the patties on a prepared grill rack and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach the desired degree of doneness.
