Full Flavor Pound Cake
Ingredients
1 C. milk
2 sticks of butter
1 C. vegetable oil
5 eggs
3 C. sugar
3 C. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. each of rum, coconut, butter
Lemon and vanilla flavoring
Glaze:
1 C. sugar
1/2 C. water
1 tsp. all flavorings, plus almond
Cooking Instructions
Cream butter, shortening and sugar to light and fluffy. Add beaten eggs. Combine flour and baking powder and add to creamed mixture alternately with milk. (Put flavoring in milk.) Spoon into greased bundt pan or 2 small loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour. Glaze: Combine in saucepan, melt and pour over cake.
