Fresh Tomato Bruschetta
Ingredients
Bread:
1 load Italian bread, or French bread (6 oz.)
1 Tbsp. olive oil
Topping:
2 plum tomatoes, minced, or 1 salad tomato
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp. minced basil
1 tsp. minced thyme
2 tsp. olive oil
Cooking Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cut bread into 6 even slices. Brush each slice with olive oil and place onto a cookie sheet. To prepare topping, combine all ingredients. Place bread in oven and toast for 1 to 2 minutes. Remove bread from the oven and spread 1 tsp. of topping over each slice. Serve immediately.
