French Peas
Ingredients
4 Tbsp. butter
1 onion, finely chopped
2 lb. fresh peas
1/2 small head lettuce, shredded
1/2 C. bouillon or stock
Cooking Instructions
Melt 3 Tbsp. butter in the bottom of a saucepan. Saute onion in butter until soft. Add peas, shredded lettuce and stock. Cover peas closely and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes. Add the remaining Tbsp. of butter and serve.
