Fiddleheads Steamed In Lemon
Ingredients
1 C.(s) water
2 Tbsp. lemon oil
3 C.(s) fiddleheads, trimmed and
cleaned
3/4 tsp. salt
black pepper
Cooking Instructions
Combine water with the lemon oil in a pot with a steamer insert. Bring to a boil and reduce heat to maintain a simmer. Place the washed fiddleheads in the steamer basket. Cover the pot and steam the fiddleheads until they are tender, about 6 minutes. Remove from heat and season with salt and pepper.
