Featherweight Breakfast Cake
Ingredients
4 tsp. margarine
1 egg
1/2 C. milk
1 C. sifted flour
1/2 C. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Cooking Instructions
Start oven at 375 degrees. Grease an 8 inch pan. Melt butter, cool slightly, then mix with egg and milk. Sift dry ingredients together; pour the mixture of liquid ingredients into the sifted dry ingredients and stir only long enough to smooth out the lumps. Pour into greased pan. Sprinkle the mixture of 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon over unbaked cake. Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
