Fajitas 3
Ingredients
Top round steak or chicken
SAUCE:
2 C. soy sauce
2 C. water
1 C. brown sugar
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. onion powder or 1/2 C. chopped onion
1 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 C. ketchup
1/4 C. barbecue sauce
Cooking Instructions
Combine ingredients and let stand in refrigerator overnight. Use 1/2 lb. steak for each person. Cut meat into pieces easy to cook (3×5) and marinate in fajita sauce several hours or overnight. Grill over hot coals about 10 minutes. Baste meat with marinade a few times while cooking. Cook meat into bite-size pieces. Wrap in warm tortilla with green pepper, onions, chopped tomatoes, shredded Monterey Jack cheese and sour cream. Saute onions and peppers for better flavor.
