English Toasted Sourdough Bread
Ingredients
1 pound loaf
2 tsp. active dry yeast
2 1/4 C. bread flour
2 Tbsp. dry milk
1 tsp. sea salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
5/8 C. warm water
1/2 C. sourdough starter
1 Tbsp. canola oil
1 tsp. honey
1-1/2 pound loaf
1 package active dry yeast
3 C. bread flour
3 Tbsp. dry milk
1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
3/4 tsp. baking soda
7/8 C. warm water
3/4 C. sourdough starter
1 1/2 Tbsp. canola oil
2 tsp. honey
Cooking Instructions
In a small C. combine warm water and baking soda and set aside for 5 minutes. Add dry ingredients to machine and then wet ingredients, including baking soda-water mixture. Start machine using whole wheat mode.
