Dilly Beans
Ingredients
1 lb. fresh green beans, rinsed and ends removed
1 medium onion, sliced
2 tsp. dried dill, or 2 Tbsp. fresh dill
1/2 C. white vinegar
1-1/2 C. water
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 C. sugar
1/2 tsp. mustard seed
Cooking Instructions
Combine all ingredients in medium saucepan. Bring to a boil; reduce heat; simmer until crisp tender, about 4 to 5 minutes. Cool and refrigerate, covered, several hours, or overnight. Drain before serving.
