Curried Deer And Noodles
Ingredients
2 lbs. deer stew meat
1/4 C. vegetable oil
1 onion (coarse chop)
2 C. water
2 Tbsp. curry powder
1 lg. can tomato sauce
2 Tbsp. flour
2 Tbsp. melted margarine
1 (8 or 12 oz.) pack Rheames frozen noodles
Cooking Instructions
Lightly season stew meat with salt and pepper. Brown in vegetable oil, remove meat and set aside. Cook onion and curry powder in the oil (stirring frequently) until onion is soft. Stir in water and stew meat. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer until meat is tender. Prepare noodles according to package directions. Stir tomato sauce into meat. Mix flour into melted margarine to make a paste. Stir into meat mixture until combined. Stirring constantly, increase heat to medium high and cook until thickened. Pour deer and sauce over drained cooked noodles. Stir to mix.
